Community School of Music and Arts art classes begin!

CSMA art programming kicked off in our elementary schools this week, joining the music classes already in play. These art and music teachers are paid by MVEF, and ensure that all our elementary students have the opportunity to experience quality art and music programming, entering middle school prepared for band and art electives.

Thanks to our amazing corporate sponsors, we have a great start on our funding this year. Google has committed $50,000, LinkedIn $25,000, Synopsys $10,000 and Microsoft $5,000, to help us meet our goal to raise $750,000. These companies hope to inspire others to support our organization and allow us to reach our goal of raising $750,000. Their generosity, together with donations from parents like you, will allow us to fund essential programs throughout the district. 

Key Donor event in October

Key Donors are a vital part of our organization, going above and beyond to support children in our district. Donors who give $1,500 and above will be invited to our fall key donor reception on October 28th at Xanh restaurant, have early access to our Winter Gala tickets, and can join us at our spring coffee with the superintendent. The PTA Connection 

The PTA, like MVEF, is a vital part of our district, creating an incredible learning community for your child. While MVEF supports programming at every school in the district, PTAs bring programs to each individual school.  Volunteering at your child's school, as well as supporting both MVEF and the PTA, helps makes our district a success!

It is time for Italian! On Wednesday, September 19th Frankie, Johnnie, and Luigi Too! will be supporting MVEF! Come and eat dinner with other supporters, families, and friends or order takeout between 4:00 pm and 10:00 pm and 15% of your bill will support our foundation!  Make sure to mention MVEF!
