Mountain View has achieved a major milestone towards curbing climate change and you may not have noticed! This year, Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE) became the official electricity supplier for residents and businesses for the communities of Campbell, Cupertino, Gilroy, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, Morgan Hill, Mountain View, Saratoga, Sunnyvale and unincorporated Santa Clara County. SVCE delivers carbon free energy at 1% less than PG&E prices. PG&E continues to distribute electricity through their existing infrastructure, perform maintenance, billing and customer service, so there will be no difference in your utility service or reliability. SVCE was formed by the communities it serves and is governed by a board of directors comprised of one elected representative from each of the participating jurisdictions.
